As a small office, we are extremely proud to have received a commendation for sustainability at the 2023 Houses Magazine awards for our work on Park House.

Though certified as a Low Energy House with the Passivhaus Institute, one step below a certified Passive House, to be commended for our sustainability features at the Houses Awards is an honour.

“I was feeling quite overwhelmed when this happened, but now I can fully comprehend what an achievement this is.

It’s with prideful thanks I congratulate the whole team in gaining a commendation for sustainability for the work we did on Park House.

We build sustainability goals into our designs from the ground up, prioritising energy efficiency on the same level as design aesthetics.

Because when it comes down to it, we want the design and its energy efficiency to still be relevant and high performing in 10, 50 and 100 years.

Why go through the tremendous effort to build something that could be out of style in just a few decades? Or that will soon be unliveable in our rapidly heating world?”
